Water Crossing Notes: No water crossings. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails were in excellent shape, in particular the White Trail and Old Piper Trail. Blazes on all trails were fresh and visible.

Dog-Related Notes: Easy hike for even small dogs. 
Bugs
Bugs: We NEVER get ticks on ourselves, which always surprises us. But that did not hold true today. My wife came away with two ticks. Other posters have commented on the ticks here. Believe it! No other bugs today as there was a stiff wind.

Comments: A very easy hike of 5.1 miles with about 1,400' of elevation gain. Easy hike with great views.
