Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Got some great dog bug repellent from a man just finishing up as I was heading out. Also my dog was attacked by a Pit Bull as we were finishing up. Control your dog or don't let it off leash. The owner is lucky they pulled him off before any damage was done, I'll leave it at that.
Bugs
Bugs: Lots of flies hatching/biting in the AM, other than that just a few stray mosquitos.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost a handkerchief sliding down the south slide.

Comments
Comments: Did this as an overnight since I wasn't sure I would have enough time to complete it just on Saturday. I ended up camping up on the top of the Scaur ridge trail. Admittedly a pretty crappy spot but a nice place to start the climb after getting some sleep. Severe thunderstorms were forecast Friday night but we stayed dry until just before setting up camp. The night was uneventful, some stray showers. The next morning was foggy but the fog burned off by the time we reached the top of the ridge. Nice views from the top of North and Middle where you could see through the trees. By the time I got to the top of South the weather was beautiful. Got down the south slide just before some heavy rain started. Luckily I had decided to forego a trip to the Sleepers. We got pretty wet and by the time we reach the Livermore trail it was a complete downpour. Passed a lone mountain biker and my dog was then attacked by some idiots pitbull around the Greeley Pond junction. All in all a good hike, bad ending.
