| Water Crossing Notes: |
Carrigain Brook running fast and high this morning, crossing knee deep wade. Happy to have Crocs and a stick. Slightly lower on way out. Two other crossings of Carrigain Brook on the Carrigain Notch trail were also wades. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Carrigain Notch trail is extremely wet, several extended sections of the trail are running streams. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Carrigain Brook crossing might be difficult for dogs. |

| Bugs: |
Mosquitoes are fierce, wind kept the black flies away on the summit. |

Views from summit tower and Signal Ridge fantastic as always. Signal Ridge trail wet but in good shape. |
