|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
no issues - all bridged |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
a couple birch blowdowns along the way - 1 with saplings stacked next to it so I guess you could ride over it? I didn't want to try. On the XC Ski fork, towards the lower pond, there were several stopovers that are probably covered in snow in winter so probably not an issue. |

This was 95% via mountain bike. A couple of the re-routes I had to push the bike uphill. Downhill was pretty steep - glad I just had my brakes fixed. Other than the re-routes, this is really a pleasant riding route. Didn't see more than a handful of people. Lower Pond seems really high right now. Not much room on the southern shore to sit and enjoy the view but the bugs were bad anyway so I didn't linger. Made it out a few minutes after the downpours started. |
