Comments
Comments: With threats of thunder storms, not have done some bushwhacking in quite some time and being run done with a sinus infection we decided to drive many hours to Pittsburg NH and tackle this relatively easygoing New Hampshire 300 Highest peak.

Another reason for hitting this area was to search for moose antlers. That said we parked on the height of land on Pisgah Mountain Road and rather than heading straight (southeast) for the summit we set off northeast looking to hit the summit from the backside and loop around to it. This route was easy going with lots of moose sign in open woods, tall ferns and grass. As we continued to climb the roar of thunder started in the distance and the search for antlers was put on the back burner and we set off to hit the summit.

After summiting the rain started, downpours and then the thunder. Be then basically headed west dropping straight done to the road and walked back to the car.

No antlers today, yet another great adventure.
