| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
It's the busy season so, at 8:30am the lot was full. Parking on the side of the road opposite the lot seems OK since it's not a highway... On my return, it was fully lined with cars. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings are low and rock hopable. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One significant blow down that is easily gotten over but could be cleared. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Every group seemed to have a dog today. Easy trail for them. But after the lat water crossing, plan on carrying extra water as I know there is none available. Please have dogs either lease for under voice command. When I returned to the parking area, there was a little Pomeranian running wild and almost got hit by 2 cars... Not to mention was all up in Isis' business which we don't like. Spoke to the owner... FWIW |
| Bugs: |
None today. |
| Lost and Found: |
One Leki trekking pole when I stepped off trail to pee... I'll be shocked if anyone finds it. |

| Comments: |
We started out at 8:30 and by 10am, we were turning back.... Too crowded today and Isis was not having any of it. She started walking down after a treat break and would not relent to head up to the summit. Who am I to argue. If she doesn't want to, we'll go another day.... But I believe we will not see another 4K for a while until the "busy season" is over.
Trail itself is good but really getting eroded form over use... |
