Comments
Comments: good dry trail to parker summit and the next .8 to the great view ledge.

i was aware of a trail continuing beyond that towards evans and i had also noted a flagged trail leaving evans a while back but had never tried to follow. based on this i surmised a trail ran between them, but i appear to be wrong. i decided to try it today and found the red blazed trail to the ledges continued with a decent footbed to another nice blocky set of ledges. from there it dropped to an interesting saddle with a sign asking people not to build unofficial trails and stating that an offical trail was in process.

i continued with the red blazes and decent footbed to another ledgy area where i lost all sign of a trail, but found flagging continuing. the flagged route was just that with no real trail though it occasionally followed old woods roads with some footbed. about halfway across the ridge the flagged route seemed to stop. i poked around a bit to see if i missed something, but didn't find anything. not planning on a bushwhack i retraced my steps. will have to check it out again sometime with the leaves down or try it from evans.
