Water Crossing Notes: All easily crossed; a few on slick rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Livermore Tr. has been filled back in since last weekend; equipment still out there.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No water once going above brooks. I'd rather be a dog (4WD) on the slides than a human.

Comments
Comments: Todays conditions were most likely as good as it gets for the slides. Rain had cleaned them off yesterday and they were dried out today without humid conditions slickening them up. Still got my heart pumping a few times. No sign of the dead moose; thought I smelled it but never saw it. Quiet here; I believe I only ran into 11 hikers while going up North and down South. Seems like more loose stuff on the upper part of the North Slide which slows ones pace even more. Watch for falling rock; I heard one and caught it luckily it was marble sized and not softball sized like another one I saw going by on the side. All trails mostly dry other than a few wet, muddy sections near bottom of South Slide near crossings.
