Comments
Comments: used the east branch going up since I hadn't been on it. lots of blackened forest from the fire last year. good going most of the way despite it being too warm. saw about 20 other hikers in total. after checking out the ledges, I headed into the woods northward. I came across a fire break which was like a herd path leading well up toward the summit. a short wack westward took me to the huge summit rock. nobody else has signed in this year! a simple about face brought me back down near the ledges and I descended via the west branch of the trail which I used to do southwest moat 2 yrs. ago.
