Small parking area. But if you park right, you can probably get 5/6 cars in there. |

Water crossings are minimal and can be stepped over. Some are good water sources for dogs and people. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape. Bog bridges could be replaced. |

Good trail for dogs but it is a little steep. Water down low so in the warm weather, bring extra water. |

Mosquitoes are out and there is a swarm of flies and other things at the top. |

Today was suppose to be Mt. Success. But Success Pond road was awful. So, I ended up at Owl's Head and having never hiked this before, I figured, why not. From this side, it's really steep in places but I pushed through and had a nice rest at the summit. Great mix of terrain from wet and swampy down low to dirt, to rocks... Enjoyed this one and will probably come back for Martha some other time. |
