| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Mt. Roberts Trail was in great shape. High Ridge is not signed from Mt. Roberts, but there is a vague entry to the connector from the summit, trail otherwise easy to follow with metal blue diamond blazes. High Ridge is very grassy as well, with many areas having an ill-defined treadway. Turtleback Mountain Trail is somewhat grassy in its upper section (between High Ridge and the summit spur), and a joy otherwise all the way out to Shannon Pond. |

| Comments: |
Took in a great run in the Ossipees with Anya, and covered a substantial amount of ground, considering the heat and humidity. Mt. Roberts Trail has some moments of steep climbing, and some nice level-ish sections to break it up. The undulating High Ridge is an excellent running path, though questionable footing exists under all that grass! While Turtleback Mountain Trail provided fast, generally smooth descent miles out to Shannon Pond. Ice cream, followed by beers capped off a great time in the Ossipees. |
