one large hardwood blowdown on bald knob trail once up on the ridge. |

nice dry trail on what is a more rugged hike than one might expect. had been a couple years and i had forgotten. the direct trail from bald knob to turtleback is vague in a couple spots, but generally nice and easy to follow. nice cool breeze on the summits, but pretty hot and muggy on the ascent. |
