Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Only recall one spot on Hi-Cannon. No issue.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Hi Cannon trail was badly eroded and made descent tricky in some spots. Going up it was not a problem but a few times coming down it was like skiing. Conditions sadly were encouraging others to forge new trails to avoid problem areas. The first wooden step mounted to the rocks heading up FJT was loose on the way up and broken off on the way down.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lot's of dogs. No issues.
Bugs
Bugs: Saw some bugs but they ignored me. No bug spray and no bites.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: n/a

Comments
Comments: Beautiful day. Great views. Fishin' Jimmy Trail was easier than the build up online. One of my more enjoyable days out hiking.
