Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Clinton Rd. going to the trailhead is in pretty rough shape. Be careful when driving the 2.3 miles. Potholes, frost heaves, etc.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All easy and accessable 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Crews had apparently gone through recently since there was evidence of blowdowns cleared and water crossings attended. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several dogs. All well behaved.  
Bugs
Bugs: Minimal. Some, but not enough to be a distraction. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Several items were at the trail-head kiosk including, glasses, a baggie with "Melissa" written on it, and a shirt 
 
Comments
Comments: Beautiful trail and day. Gusts at 10+ MPH at the summit with temps around 50 making it a bit chilly. Book time seems fairly accurate for the average hiker.
