| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Arrive EARLY as the parking lot at Pinkham Notch fills up fast. You may park on both sides of rt. 16 if you have to. The shoulder is more than wide enough. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Foot bridges between Pinkham Notch and Hermit Lakes are in great shape |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in great shape all they way to the summit. No evidence of blowdowns. Some brush and shrubs are a bit overgrown stretching out, over the trail between Hermit Lakes and the Ravine Floor. This makes things a bit narrow and difficult to navigate, especially on the weekends with crowds of hikers. |
