Comments
Comments: Skipped out of work a couple hours early to hike today. Left my car at the Carriage Road gate and rode my bicycle downhill just over two miles to the Gilford Elementary School. Yes, I was off to redline the Yellow Trail. Nice views from Rowe's ledges, followed the BRT white blazes and visited the view spurs along they way. I turned right down the Winter Short-Cut and went down and the went back up the Gunstock Mt. Trail all the way to the summit where I was greeted by the sounds of the zipline. I ducked behind the ski patrol shack and took the old trail back down to meet the Gunstock Mt. Trail and then descended once again down the Winter Short-Cut. This time I continued down the Gunstock Mt. Trail back to my car. Nice outing with some nice mountain views over the lake. Always fun to go Belknapping.
