Comments
Comments: i walked the old paved road to an area with old "no dumping" signs and hit the woods on a line to the peak. the descent down to berry brook was steep with a fair amount of trash from people that ignored the signs. some sprucy woods for a bit on the other side of the brook then open woods to a crossing of the atv trail from hildreth dam. continuing up in open woods there was one steepish pitch before the recognized highpoint. i roughly followed the same route back out. after this hike i ascended nearby foote hill from the hildreth dam and found it to have a private residence on the top. this is something to keep in mind if you decide to head to foote from clement.
