Comments
Comments: Took loop clockwise short section up long section down. Trail up to the imp was dry, wet with a few patches of easily avoided mud but smooth sailing, rocks were mainly dry. Water at crossing was high and did take care to get across without wet boot. Patches of mud and some wet and slippery rock between the imp and the north carter trail junction. Rocks at the stream crossing were wet and slick today and required some care. Upper part heading down after north carter trail junction was its usual mud and rocks and stretches with water in the trail, lower part was dry with minor mud. Great views as always, cloud layer lifted to expose the northern presidentials and sat just at the top of Washington. saw fewer than 10 out today on the trails.
