Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail's in good shape. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only 2 dogs on the trail including my own. She had a great time. Alltrails said that dogs need to be on a leash on this trail, but I saw no signs to that effect and no one seemed bothered that the 2 dogs were unleashed.

Comments: Nice hike. There is a view towards the Presidentials a short distance past the summit of Waumbek, but the best spot to stop is by the stone fireplace on Starr King. There's a spring but not much water.
