parked up past the gate at the end of new colony rd. about .3 miles on the left at a clearing. some could get up to the pond, but after that it's less likely. |

trails are in pretty good shape, just a few blowdowns and some mud patches. |

walked the rest of orange cove tr.(road) to a right entrance to the mowglis tr. by a cairn. good going most of the way and before I knew it, I was on the summit. nice day and views where available and it was a good test for my sore calf. I descended the same way. good one. |
