I had to park at the gated FR93 because of a flooded beaver pond! 3 guys who were parked told me this. they were "tracking" a bear. |

had to grease up twice, cause the mosquitos and gnats were fierce! |

I walked up FR93 past the beaver pond. the flood was up to the road edge. maybe the gate will open soon. after a mile I went left onto FR93B, then up to a snomo trail to the left. this went down over mill brook via a bridge. from there it was an open bushwack for quite a while before it finally steepened up to the summit. i'm the 2nd signer this year. the descent was a breeze down the gentle slope though I did hit FR93B further east than I should have. not bad overall, just some wetness from recent rain. |
