Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked over night at route 25 just up from the hostel and had no issues. Plenty of room too.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There's only one real stream just before 25C... There is a black hose that you can fill from. The water at the tent site is dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail is in great shape. There is some mud but it's pretty solid and you can walk through it.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: As noted, there is no good water on this section for dogs. Bring extra and camel up at the stream noted above. It's been humid so we took plenty of breaks and she rested at camp. It's an easy grade of trail, just no water.
Bugs
Bugs: Skeeters are buzzin'!
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Great little section of the AT. Easy flat grades and gradual inclines. The humidity kicked my butt a little but I recovered. Ore Hill Tent site is kind of bare and there seemed to be lots of animal activity so, hang or store you food properly. I enjoyed my visit with the Omelette Guy too. Only about 10 more miles to go before I finish the state.
