Comments
Comments: We turned around about 200 feet from the summit of Cardigan. About 1/2 mile from Firescrew and on there is about 1/2 - 1 inch of solid ice. We were fine with microspikes but to summit I would have put crampons on. We turned because it was way to slick for the dog. Also did not have my ice ax with me and I would not want to have tried getting down ( or up ) the slabs without it. Very very slippery today.
