Dog-Related Notes: Only saw 2 dogs at the summit they came up Hi-Cannon trail.

Bugs: bugs weren't bad in the am but by afternoon were everywhere. Even with bug spray they were annoying

Comments: Mud was only an issue on the left .5/.25 mile to the summit. Most of the mud was decently avoidable with rocks but there was a stretch of mud that was tricky to get around. I knew it had rained a couple days prior and there isn't really sun on that section so it stays fairly saturated.

WAY TOO MUCH TRASH! I picked up a lot of trash from previous hikers please don't disrespect the trails and if you see trash just pick it up. I carry around doggie bags even though I don't hike with a dog to throw out my trash and pick up any along the way. It isn't that hard and barely adds weight to your pack.
