Water Crossing Notes: rock hopping
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One blowdown shortly before the junction (heading up).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Very doable and not much needing assistance. Plenty of water until the trail junction and one stream shortly after. Not sure if the other wetness on the the ridge is consistent. The platform at the top is scary to climb and has grates between the stairs.
Bugs
Bugs: YELLOW JACKETS stung at the beginning of the switchbacks. Not the first mini switchback immediately after the trail junction but the next one. There was no warning. We also saw a black and white hornet hanging out on the junction sign but no altercations.

Comments
Comments: Beware of wasps (see above). Other than stings, we had a great day. It is getting cooler at elevation and it was a breezy day on the tower.
