Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Boomer did great. We went down the steep of the Carter-Moriah Trail heading towards the Carter Notch Hut that actually made things really easy. I would recommend going down instead of up that steep section any day.
Bugs
Bugs: Wind kept them all at bay today.

Comments
Comments: Well the weather report said partly cloudy and sunny, but it was cloudy and cold until we were heading back out Nineteen-Mile Brook. The view from Hight was not the greatest, but it was kind of cool to see the ominous clouds covering the Presidentials.

Instead of going up the miserable steep section from Carter Notch Hut to Carter Dome, we went down and it was awesome. It never felt too steep and we cruised down it.

Doing the loop clockwise is one of the easiest hikes in the White Mountains. The trails are gradual and have decent footing except for the final climb up Hight and the already mentioned steep section. The section of Nineteen-Mile Brook after the Carter Dome split is a bit rougher on the foot than before the junction.

Trip report will come later in the week.
