Comments: Thanks to reading KenM's NETC report this summer I thought wow I should go find that path and take a look at Wyatt Hill from the top of Owls Head cliff! I had to walk up the road about 3/4 mile to get to the Blueberry Mt Trailhead and was thinking geez why didn't they let people drive to the trailhead until I saw the steep section just before the trailhead--the washout is 5 feet deep! Up the Blueberry Mt Trail and I went straight on the logging road when the official trail takes a left turn up a bank into the woods. There is a nice worn herd path in the grass up the logging road and the path to Owls Head is on the left in about a good 1/10th of a mile. There is a small cairn and you can see into the woods a red blaze on a tree. You may think the trail is just part of a waterbar drainage and the logging road starts to swing right--path is there on left. I had a fun time getting there and hunted around on top. I found some old rotten plywood with four posts that had some metal on them didn't look like a shelter, I have no idea what it might of been or how it got there. Blue ribbons, yellow ribbons, yellow blazes, sort of old but ribbons make no sense. Good views but I was hoping to find a monster ledge face but there are fabulous red pine trees and blocks of rock and plenty of places to scare yourself if you like heights. I enjoyed views to Wyatt Hill, Mt Mist and Webster Slide very much and good view down the Baker Valley and another view down to Oliverian Pond/Dam. good one
