took newell brook rd.(sign 60yds. up road) off rt.16 in dummer for 1.7 miles. I then went left for another 3/4mi. and parked by a clearing. |

with plenty of skid roads, cleared areas and good woods this was pretty good going. a little steepness was short lived. I could see out from the summit area too. I liked the talking cow in amy and brian's sign in. like Zach, I stuck to mostly woods on descent. it was much easier. |
