Bugs: OMG! After all the reports of very few bugs I was not expecting the swat fest that awaited me. Literally hundreds of bites. I haven't used bug stuff in 20 years but I finally gave in and it helped when was I was moving.

Comments
Comments: This was a "one of these days
I'm gonna" hike. I have thought about this hike for years and used it to avoid the crowds at the trail heads. Nice easy walk with very little elevation gain. Didn't see anyone else.
