Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: At the main trailhead / kiosk a long 12 miles out Magalloway Road in Pittsburg. Magalloway Road is in good shape, the side road to the falls a little less so. High clearance could make it to the southern trailhead but I wouldn't recommend it for low clearance vehicles due to a grassy hump in the road. There is a pit toilet at the main trailhead which is amazingly clean for such a remote location.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Starting from the southern trailhead (no signs), the trail takes an immediate left turn which isn't totally obvious. I wandered a bit further along a well worn trail until I hit the river before realizing my mistake.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure.
Bugs
Bugs: Nope.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: A short one mile loop which skirts the east branch of Dead Diamond River, passing by the impressive 40 ft. falls. From the kiosk, I walked the 0.4 mi. to the southern trailhead and started there. Pretty good flow in the falls. One steep section of climbing above them.
