Comments
Comments: We decided not to take the trail from the north to the summit and was looking to hit it from the south. With our parking west of the summit we set off following an old logging road and skidder roads heading southeast. Once south of the summit and about 2000 feet we headed east jumping off this these roads and heading toward the southern ridge hitting heard paths, some steep but nice woods, then crossing a few logging cuts as we turned north. A couple scrappy spots here and there but mostly nice woods as we broke out to the recognized high point and the fire tower. Along the way, we had some great views, lots of moose, some deer and bear signs.
