Comments
Comments: The ledges high up on the Blueberry Ledge Trail were mostly dry today which permitted safe passage. Saw a bull moose off the Rollins Trail near the junction of Dicey's Mills Trail. Some maple leaves have down low and some mountain ash leaves at higher elevations have turned color. Great views of Lake Winnipesauke and Squam Lake from Whiteface south ledge. The small cairn is still in place alongside the Rollins Trail to mark the summit of Mt Whiteface. Lots of hikers out today.
