At the bottom of the access road (sign, gate) for the fire tower along Ponemah Hill Road in Milford. I parked on the left as to not block the gate. Watch for one large rock sticking up out of the road when you pull in. |

Yes! Some gnatty things accompanied me up. |

Another short walk of a few tenths up the gravel (paved near the top) access road to the fire tower. There are also two cabins up here, one closed off with caution tape. The former outhouse has been tipped over. Broken glass, graffiti and trash at the summit clearing. Limited views from the uppermost deck of the tower. It looks like a few ATV trails from points unknown will get you up here as well. |
