Decent hike with plenty of views once you hit the 1st summit. Jackson has better views than Pierce and of course Eisenhower had better views than those 2. We hiked this on a Thursday hoping for no crowds, for the most part not a lot of people. But there was field trip happening on Pierce and then 2 separate field trips on Eisenhower. Luckily the kids weren't rowdy but Eisenhower is a fairly small peak, especially when you don't want to be stepping all over the vegetation at the top. It was hard to relax and enjoy the summit when you have a pop quiz being given out at the top of a mountain. |
