Comments
Comments: Saddleback Mountain (1155'), the highpoint of Deerfield.

I walked the access road, at first gravelly, then paved where it becomes steep up to the radio tower. The tower itself is fenced and posted no trespassing.

I went into the woods left and skirted around the tower to another (the same?) access road which led to a cell tower. From that tower I bushwhacked in open woods to the summit, about a half mile away. Going is mostly good, with a few minor bumps along the way and some small cliffs to work around. The summit is somewhat open on the ground, but there are no views. The highpoint is recognized, with some familiar names in the register. I pretty much followed the same route back, but with more of a bee line to the radio tower.
