Parking/Access Road Notes: 25 cars at 9:30 A.M.; room for several more in paved lot.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All 5 crossings easily rock hopped on dry rocks with current low water levels. Obvious herd path to bypass crossings 3 & 4. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A new blowdown slightly below Davis Path jct. on Isolation Tr. ducked under easily. Hiker coming in from 302 said maintainer was out on Davis Path trimming.

Dog-Related Notes: A few out today; short stretches without water.

Bugs: Didn't notice any today.

Comments
Comments: Trails mostly dry. Able to hop along dry rocks without the water/mud traps waiting below if you slipped. Hiker Ed's group and another group took Engine Hill BW but stated it was not an obvious path like some of the other common BW's in the Whites. Around 50 hikers met including at least 4 48 finishers and some familiar faces. Hikers coming in from Glen Boulder had some spitting snow in A.M..
