Took the less severe walk up from west. View point all the way out on narrow precipitous outcrop not for faint of heart. Great views of local area, especially the Balsams. Well worth the short time for the round trip and on a rest day between more serious hikes. Group of 10 advanced-middle-aged from Indianapolis made it up the east approach; say no more. |
