Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: On Welch side, a chain saw widowmaker about 0.1 to 0.2 miles from the trailhead. On the Dickey side, a chain saw sized stepover less than a mile from the trailhead. Some rock steps getting loose from the dry conditions and heavy use. Also noting a lot of trail creep avoiding some of the rock work, which could cause it to get undermined if not corrected.

Comments
Comments: Loop trail was about as dry as it gets. No mud of note, nor any wet ledge.

Foliage in early stages of turning, but seeming to dry out rather than go vivid in color. Some red maple and hobblebush, but other leaves simply turning brown.
