Only one of half a dozen streams had any appreciable water. Looks like a beaver may be getting ideas about building a dam. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
13 blowdowns: 11 on ground and easy step-overs, 1 about chest high (used to be higher), 1 large on ground with a path developing around it. Drains cleared, but will need more once leaves are down. Sign damaged at Elwell junction -- bear? |

| Comments: |
Many thanks to the AMC teen crew who built a small bridge over the outflow from the easternmost beaver pond. Likewise for the removal of old corduroy and installation of puncheons and turnpiking along a wet area.
The trail between the lodge and the Short Circuit has unfinished rock water bars and other drainage. |
