I had to make a report on Osgood because there is good news. as you enter the trail from parking there are 2 info mailboxes. up from there are 2 beautiful new trail signs. there is a little section of wetness at first then very good going all the way to the summit! very nice woods and a well blazed and clear trail. once past the ledges the trail is very much like new and easy to follow up to the "black top" sign. I don't know what that name means. good views from the ledges too. overall, what a pleasant surprise. earlier I did skatutakee, bald and afterward pitcher which are all along rt.123. those 3 have many reports and all I can add is that right know there is good work available for squirrels. there is TONS of acorns everywhere! |
