Whiteface brook is as low as I have ever seen it. Easy rock hop, or just walk through. |

One blow down on Signal Ridge before the split with Carrigain Notch. Easy climb over. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Great hike for Fido, saw a few. Heard a group of bear dogs in the morning, several hikers had blaze orange (or yellow). |
|
 | Bugs: |
A ground wasp nest on Carrigain Notch Tr, about half way between the Signal Ridge Tr split, and the Wilderness boundary (100 yards before the big rock). I got stung. Have heard reports of others getting stung as well. |

 | Comments: |
Spent the day doing trail work. Cleared the only blow down on my section, finished brushing. The drainages all look good, although there are a lot of leaves left to fall. The trail is ready for winter. |
