|Date of Hike:
||Tuesday, October 10, 2017|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||Rock hoppable. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||No blowdowns or clogged waterbars. Trail is well cared for by its volunteer adopter. Lots of rock steps and waterbars installed over the past half decade or so. |
|Lost and Found:
||Trails were generally dry with a few damp areas remaining from yesterday's rain. Leaves are starting to cover the trail. Foliage is okay, but not peak. Nice yellows visible on North Kinsman from Bald Peak.|
There are still trail closure signs up (e.g. southern portion of Kinsman Ridge Trail due to the forest fire), but I did not see any visible smoke when I drove by Lost River.
