Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: only real crossing was on the Dicey's Mill trail and that was easily accomplished.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in great shape for the most part. A few minor blowdowns on Wonalancet Range. Some realizing needed too but nothing terribly obvious.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: The Walden trail might be difficult for a dog. Very steep and rocky. The only dog we saw all day was a very friendly puppy of the lower section of Dicey's Mill.

Lost and Found: nothing

Comments
Comments: This was a tough hike! The Walden trail is steep and rocky and not for a novice hiker. Not the best way to ascend Passaconoway but we were looking for something other than Dicey's Mill, which is overall rather dull, and we had already done Whiteface and the Rollins Trail. So be warned !
