Parking/Access Road Notes: plenty of parking at the Mt Morgan trailhead and the Rattlesnakes parking lot across the street was also available if needed. No parking allowed on the shoulder of Route 113.

Trail Maintenance Notes: trail is in fine shape. Thanks to the SLA for keeping these trails in top form.

Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any dogs. The cliff and caves on both peaks would be difficult for any dog.

Comments
Comments: One of my favorite hikes. The view of Squam Lake is spectacular. And the cliffs and ladders and caves are always fun. Not a hike to be underestimated despite their lowly elevations. M-P is one of the best shorter hikes in the Whites.
