Comments
Comments: A little redlining after an appointment in Hanover today. Dry trail all around, just a little mud by the beaver pond. I found this trail somewhat deceiving. It's a mostly unrelenting grind with little relief. Every time I thought I was getting to the top of something, there was more up. Leaf cover is getting deep, and plenty of acorns around for slippery footing. Excellent views from the outlooks near the main cliff, which is fenced off to protect vegetation and falcons who nest here. Still good looking foliage around.

I continued past the ledge and down to Trapper John Shelter, which is quite a descent of about 600'. There I met a SOBO AT section hiker named Mustard. We sat and had a long conversation about life. It was great. Safe travels, Mustard!
