Comments
Comments: Walked ~.4 mi past gate then took a right on to an old logging road. Followed this road for ~.5 mi up to ~1,700' then headed up the fall line. Hit an intersection of two old logging roads (~1,950') that are not on the map. Headed W then SW on the logging road to ~2,275' then headed up the fall line. Soon hit a skidder trail that took us up to the ridge. We hit game trails from the bump on the ridge (~2,950') to Teapot. The game trails took us W of several areas of blowdowns and thick spruce. At the base of the cone we headed E on an old skidder trail to avoid thick spruce. We found a game trail on the NE side of the cone that took us to within 30 yards of the top where we encountered somewhat thick spruce. Over all a very easy NH200. Great day out with Larry Babcock.
