| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
From Route 26 take Diamond Pond Road towards Coleman State Park, going past Little Diamond Pond. As you approach Diamond Pond you will see Roy Road on your left, this is a private road. We continued past Roy Road just under a ½ mile and parked at a public boat launch on the left. From here the balance of the road is posted for residence travel only. After speaking with one of the camp owners there’s a guy who owns the land at the southeast end of the pond just before the bridge. This road crosses his land and he wouldn’t allow motor vehicles to pass, accessing their camps. Foot traffic is allowed and that’s how they get to and from their camps.

Diamond Ridge is on the New Hampshire 300 Highest and the New Hampshire 2000-Footer Lists
From our parking, we followed the balance of Diamond Pond Road crossing the bridge and started bushwhacking north, steep and steady in good woods, older logging area with new growth hitting patches of picker bushes here and there. Things leveled off and we hit the recognized summit with a carved X and jar. Basically, followed our steps back to the car.
Quick and straightforward |
