Comments
Comments: VERY WET TRAIL - though considering that it was raining all day, that really shouldn't be a surprise. Temperature was perfect for a rainy hike - warm enough so that we didn't get cold as long as we kept moving, but not so warm that it was miserably hot and humid. Views would have been excellent on a clear day, but since it was rainy we neither expected nor saw any. Most of the trails are quite gradual, only the upper part of the Slippery Brook Trail is steeper (but still not that steep). Only rock scrambling was in a few areas on the Eastman Mountain Trail. Only place where the trail wasn't perfectly clear was the lower Slippery Brook Trail, and there were plenty of blazes on that section to help out. All in all, quite nice for a hike that was entirely in the rain and had no views.
