Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Overall trails faired pretty well through the storm. Lots of clogged waterbars in the hardwoods sections of trail. Some waterbars were jumped by the water. Some minor erosion here and there. We cleared about a dozen larger blowdowns along our route. All trails described above are now free of blowdowns. There were lots of small branches and sticks in the trails as well.

Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Nice loop to inspect the damage from the storm. Trails were wet with a little rain on and off today. Lots of puddles/pools still in areas. Mud wasn't too bad but there is some here and there. Piper Mountain Trail saw some significant runoff down the trail but held up pretty well. Lots of damage in the woods with blowdowns but the trails were spared for the most part in this area. BRATTS latest work on the Piper Mountain Trail took a bit of a hit as the dirt used to pack in the stone steps was washed out, one step in moving slightly. The ledges on the Wardens Trail were very slippery today so extra caution was needed. Significant runoff on the Wardens Trail as well. Going to be a lot of work digging out the waterbars. All other BRATTS work on this loop held up well with no issues. No major issues on the Blue Trail. Hoping to get out again soon to check more trails.
