| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing Downes Brook was a struggle. If you don't mind taking your shoes off and getting wet, or if you're really experienced at challenging stream crossings, you'll be ok- otherwise I would not recommend this trail right now. I'm very good at crossing and couldn't find a way to do it without getting my shoes partially wet and taking one big leap of faith. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail is good. I cleaned up everything other than really tiny stuff and stuff I couldn't move. There are 7-8 new blowdowns left from the storm, but only 1 requires any amount of work to get over, and it's still pretty easy. Someone with a saw could certainly help, but it's not really needed.
There was obviously a ton of water running through this trail a few days ago, but it's looking great now (other than those new blowdowns) and is pretty dry. |

| Lost and Found: |
I found a pretty brand new Mount Washington nalgene bottle smack dab in the middle of the brook crossing, full of water. I left it at the sign in the parking lot. |
